Introducing the Grand Finalists for Family Talent Quest Competition
1. Su Nin and Ai Nee:
Ang Ai Nee had sung to her daughter, Leong Su Nin when she was a baby. Now, 8 years later, mother and daughter have the perfect chance to showcase their talents. Young Su Nin, takes JazzKids™ and UrbanKids™ classes with Kids Performing™, is proud and happy that her mother is taking part alongside her in the Family Talent Quest Grand Finals. Ai Nee says, “This is indeed special, as now Su Nin gets to teach me something about performing on stage. I am now the student and it’s a great opportunity for us to bond!”
2. Amanda and Big Daddy
“Big Daddy”, Clement Augustine finds that the Family Talent Competition is a wonderful opportunity for him to get on stage with his daughter, Amanda to perform. Having performed in last year’s competition, it was a thrill for the father – daughter team to get together again for this year’s competition and they made it to the Grand Finals! Amanda is a seasoned performer and is part of JazzKids™ 3 in Kids Performing™. Clement remarked that all the times he had sent Amanda to Kids Performing™ for lessons, has inspired him to take to the stage and who better to do so with than his own talented daughter. For this duo, rehearsals to prepare for the competition have provided numerous opportunities to bond as family.
3. The Rainbow Family
Amanda and Alicia Chandra are both students of Kids Performing™. They enrol in Hip Hop Kids and Urban Kids™ and both performed for the CAAS show, with Amanda performing for the Skechers Promotion Shows at Parkway Parade and Suntec City. Being seasoned performers, they jumped at the opportunity to bring their parents onto the stage as well! Next stop, Family Talent Quest Grand Finals! The Rainbow Family called themselves as such because they are all different individuals but together they shine on stage!
